A new edition of 7 Days, 7 Ways has just landed in your inbox. Every Sunday, I share seven outfits from my week – the combinations that survived real life, changing weather forecasts, long walks, coffee spills, and last-minute plans. Consider it a weekly wardrobe diary: part outfit inspiration, part personal experiment.

What a week. Anyone who’s self-employed and has a family knows that travel doesn’t just mean packing a suitcase – it means carrying approximately 847 tabs open in your brain at all times.

The mental load over the past few days has been spectacularly high: making sure nothing gets forgotten, no deadline gets missed, and somehow staying focused while life is doing its best impression of a logistical obstacle course.

The schedule? Mildly unhinged. Packing up in Berlin while navigating an especially bureaucratic chapter of our lives, catching an early flight to Copenhagen on Wednesday for 3 Days of Design, and then heading straight from Copenhagen to Greece for a collaboration, meeting my little family at the airport.

So this edition of 7 Days 7 Ways truly has it all: kindergarten drop-offs, a bar night with friends, travel days, fancy dinners, sunny poolside moments in Greece – and, perhaps most importantly, an alarming amount of red and a completely unapologetic commitment to outfit repeating.

MONDAY

Denim Jacket – Longsleeve – Barrel Pants – Handbag – Ballet Flats – Sunglasses

Indyx and my pre-planned outfits may have genuinely changed my life, but there are still mornings when I find myself staring blankly at my wardrobe – especially if I didn’t manage to wash my hair the night before and I am the one that does kindergarten drop-off early in the morning.

Whenever I have no idea what to wear and it’s still a bit chilly in the morning, I default to my Uniqlo barrel pants. Add a long-sleeve top, ballerinas, and call it a day. That’s about as much outfit creativity as my sleep-deprived brain can muster before coffee.

TUESDAY

Raincoat – White Longsleeve – White Lace Denim – Ballet Flats – Tote Bag (similar)

This was the day my love story with the red raincoat began. I bought it almost on a whim, thinking: Well, it’ll probably come in handy in Copenhagen since rain is basically part of the local culture. It’s lightweight, easy to pack, and, if you squint a little, vaguely Toteme-adjacent.

What I didn’t expect was that I’d barely take it off afterwards. I especially love it with this simple white outfit and black ballerinas. It’s incredibly comfortable, but still somehow feels polished – which, if you ask me, is the ultimate outfit sweet spot.

WEDNESDAY

With a brain tied into a packing-induced knot, the chaos continued. The alarm went off at 6 a.m., and by 8 a.m. I was already at the airport.

My outfit formula was simple: the ultimate travel trousers from Reyèm, a baseball long-sleeve, my now-beloved red raincoat (complete with a detachable hood that, unfortunately, saw a lot of action this week), and black ballet flats.

Not groundbreaking fashion, perhaps, but exactly the kind of outfit that gets you through early flights, unpredictable weather, and the existential question of whether you remembered to pack your charger. Which, thankfully, I did. This time.

Red Sweater – T-Shirt – Kick Flare Pants – Ballet Flats (Leopard Version) – Red Bag – Necklace (similar)

For dinner, I swapped into my Reyèm kick-flare pants and attempted to put together what I’d call a casual evening look.

The zebra-print Aeyde flats are essentially my version of packable evening shoes: chic enough for dinner, practical enough for cycling across the city, which is really the Copenhagen dream. The red sweater added that perfect balance of relaxed and polished – effortless, but still like I’d made an effort.

And honestly? Sitting at a Mexican restaurant, eating tacos and drinking beer in an outfit that felt both comfortable and put-together was exactly the kind of fashion success I needed that day.
