I’m genuinely very happy to be typing these lines right now, because the last newsletter went out far too long ago. The reason is, unfortunately, not particularly glamorous. We had a death in the family, followed by the trip that came with it (which I briefly mentioned in the last newsletter), and as the cherry on top of this already rather full emotional cake: my son has just started settling into his new daycare group.
Which means that instead of sitting at my laptop contemplating styling tricks, emerging trends, and the occasional fashion-world absurdity, I currently spend my mornings from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. sitting in a daycare. Technically, I don’t have much to do there. I’m even allowed to read a book. But because there is a strict no-phone policy, I am – from a professional standpoint – completely incapacitated.
