40°C fever, then a sick child – this was my week in books, TV shows, and outfits
On Sunday, I took my friend to her very first reformer Pilates class and gave it my all – purely to be a shining role model on the carriage, obviously. A few hours later, however, what set in was not the muscle soreness of my heroic effort, but the full-body aches of a virus quietly announcing its arrival. Said virus has now been my constant companion for a week.
More than 24 hours of high fever were rough. A full week at home with a sick child? Rougher. There is no such thing as “resting it out,” and work? Not happening. So please excuse the unplanned radio silence over here.
Contrary to plan, I can’t offer you styling tips, fashion learnings, or even wishlists right now. I was so sick – and so busy caring for a sick child – that I didn’t even online shop. I know. Shocking.
But hey: I’ve been living exclusively in loungewear since Sunday evening and like to believe I look … perfectly acceptable. Even though, given the current life situation, that truly does not matter at all.
